This study revealed that the women who consumed 600micrograms of folic acid per day and had one alcoholic beverage in a day were found to be at lesser risk of developing breast cancer than the women who consumed 300micrograms of folic acid per day. The recommended daily allowance of Folic acid is 400micrograms for both the adult men and women.
